Each human being has the right to respect and a dignified existence, irrespective of faith, political conviction, race, sex or nationality.
Kerk in Actie is working to consolidate these rights, based on our Christian identity. In our work, Kerk in Actie seeks to follow the example of Jesus Christ, who calls to witness, to neighbourly love, to servitude and to the advancement of justice.
On behalf of the local Protestant congregations in the Netherlands, we support the work of our partners – hundreds of Christian churches and organisations all over the world – to enable people to exercise their rights and have hope for the future. This concerted action is based on mutual equality.

About Kerk in Actie
Each human being has the right to a dignified existence. Kerk in Actie is working to achieve this. Why? Because the Bible tells us that it is our task to work for a world in which all people can live.

Believing
We believe that God gets people on the move, that the Bible inspires people to opt for love, peace and justice.

Building
Together with others, we are building a world in which all people can live. Aid must help people to stand on their own feet. Not just for a while, but permanently.

Helping
We help people who have to live in difficult circumstances. There are many problems in the world. Poverty, oppression, discrimination, war, man-made and natural disasters, and illness. By giving money or material resources, by protesting against injustice, by listening and by praying we try to solve these problems.
